HOW TO CURE OILY SKIN AT HOME?

Oily skin is caused due to the excessive production of sebum secretion from sebaceous glands. These glands are present under the skin. Sebum is an oily thing that is made up of fats. But, sebum is not that bad, it helps in protecting and moisturising the skin and keeping your hair healthy and shiny.
But, too much of anything does not lead to any good results.
There is no other tormenting thing in this world than having acne prone skin and well I gotta tell you that oily skin doesn't make it any better or I should say that oily skin is one of the major causes of acne, pimples and other kinds of harsh skin related problems.
Acne is like every other person's problem and every teenager's problem. There are very few people that I have come across who do not suffer from this skin disorder.

Following are the seven home remedies that can help you with your oily skin-

1-WASHING YOUR FACE

Oily skin is also a result of not washing your face at all or washing it rarely. If you are someone who suffers from oily skin, you must wash your face twice a day. But, also do not over do it. One must avoid hard hygiene products at any cost.

Honey has antibacterial and antiseptic abilities. One more good thing about Honey is that it is one of nature's skin remedies. It may help you with your acne problems.
Honey is also humectant which helps you keep your skin moist and not oily. Apply a thin layer of it on your face, let it dry for 10 minutes and then wash it with warm water.

3-LEMON

The citric acid in lemons helps in absorbing oil from your skin, lemons also have antibacterial effects. But, solely using lemon on your skin can be too dangerous as its liquid is too acidic to apply on your face specially make sure you find a substitute like honey or egg whites to make a mask and then apply it on your face.
Lemon is also very good in removing tan from your skin.

Tomatoes are rich in salicylic acid, a basic acne home remedy. The acids in Tomatoes absorb excessive oil from skin and unclog pores. It also contains vitamin A and C and is known as a natural cleanser.
You can apply tomato's pulp or tomato slices on your skin. But, make sure you remove all the seeds from it as it may leave a mark on your face if you apply it along with the seeds.
