SHOWS THAT MADE OUR CHILDHOOD MEMORABLE

It was only a few days ago when I felt nostalgic and started counting the shows that I used to watch when I was a kid. I have always used my childhood happy days memories as an escape from my adulthood reality. As a kid, I used to think that I would never get tired of watching cartoons and wouldn't be able to get enough of them. 

There were several shows that I always used to look forward to watching, even used to go to bed with the excitement of watching them the next day.

During the 3 months long winter break, my brother and I were allowed to watch TV for 2 hours in the morning. So, we would divide the time for our favorite shows like Ostwald, Charlie, and the bucketful of dinosaurs. Then finish our homework.

In the evening we used to watch shows like Doraemon, shin chan, and Pokemon.

Some of the shows that made our childhood memorable are-

Doraemon

To this day Doraemon is still as relevant as it was when I was a kid. Kids still adore Doraemon and love watching it. Nobita is an under-confident kid who struggles to get good marks, gets bullied by classmates, and is in desperate need of help. After the arrival of Doraemon, his only friend who saves him from every problem he puts himself into, his life completely changes. Doraemon is Nobita's savior who always comes up with a gadget from his 4-dimensional pocket to help him out.

As a kid, we all wanted a Doraemon in our lives who could help us finish our homework, take us to different places from his "Anywhere" door, help us memorize for our exams with those magical bread, etc.

Shinchan

I know some people who are my age and still adore the naughtiness of shinchan. That was the charm of Shinchan. Shinchan is a 5-year-old kid who has savage humor, is smart, and is notorious. He always finds a way to make kids laugh with his absurd talks. He is always giving his mother a hard time and is famous among women for his cuteness. The show is still watched by many kids.

Tom and Jerry

This show does not need much explanation. We all have watched Tom and Jerry exhaustively in our childhood. We all used to sympathize with Jerry at that time but now we understand the pain of Tom who always used to get in trouble because of Jerry. The union of Tom and Jerry used to fill our hearts with so much love and always looked forward to watching more of them making a great team.

Ostwald

I used to watch this show in the morning as the new episodes used to be telecast in the morning only. The main character of the show was a blue octopus named Ostwald. Who used to live with his dog in an apartment (can you believe that an octopus was living on the ground, breathing air and having a dog as a pet?). But I loved the show, especially the animation. The entire show revolved around the daily life of Ostwald along with different other animal characters playing an important part in the story.

Ben 10

Ben 10 was one such show that I would never be interested in watching on my own at first but had to watch it because of my brother and eventually liked it. It is a story about a normal kid who becomes special after discovering Omnitrix. Omnitrix is an alien device that holds the power to transform the person who is wearing it into 10 different alien species.
