Why Internet access must be limited for students?

Believe it or not but one of the major reasons behind the lack of concentration is excessive usage of the internet. A student must be focused on learning, growing, and experiencing life in different ways but are they doing all of these things? No.

We are not going to talk about how we can use the internet productively and effectively in this essay, rather we will be throwing light on the lower side of the internet. Where students are falling and getting deviated from what they should be doing at this tender age. Fun is an integral part of a student's life because we are not young forever. But, these days for all people, not just for the younger generation, " internet" is synonymous with fun. Gone are the days when kids used to beg their parents to go outside and spend some time with their buddies. I mean they still spend their time with their buddies but on the "internet".
Sit back and think about what your child does whenever they get some time from their regular life. Your answer will be the Internet, going online, scrolling down some social media pages or reels these days. It has been proven that reels provide addictive momentary excitement to your brain and give a few seconds of satisfaction. If they do not get those few seconds of satisfaction regularly they become frustrated and impatient. 

It is only logical if you observe this thing that it is so easy to get lost in the internet world. One moment your child was taking an online session for an upcoming exam and the next thing you will see in the name of a 10-minute break they end up wasting hours and hours. After tiring yourself mentally that way your child does not feel like going back to studies, so he starts procrastinating and puts off things for tomorrow. You know this thing very well that tomorrow is going to be the same as today.

This cycle is never-ending not just for young kids but for students of all ages factors. It's hard to resist the charms of the internet even for grown-ups too.

That is why supervision is an important aspect especially when your child is young. Young minds are in desperate need of attention and require the supervision of their elders. Time has changed a lot and things are not getting any better. A well-brought-up child is a great investment for a nation. There is no harm in being strict and putting the foundation for your children for the betterment of their future. The internet world is too tiring for young minds and it only corrupts their mind as they have no idea how to use the internet productively. Do you need to teach them how not to become a slave to technology?

Try rewarding methods when your kid is studying, give them access to the internet but only for a limited period,  and keep an eye on their internet world.
